Aravalli Forest Nursery was inaugurated on 21st March 2021 on the occasion of World Forestry Day by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Head of Department Shri Ishwar Singh (IFS) at Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. This nursery has the capacity of 99 nursery beds and 55 mother beds. Furthermore, these beds are divided into sections called trees, shrubs, herbs and grasses. Moreover, there is a knowledge centre (Interpretation centre), poly house, green house, leaf-mould composting site, vermi-composting site and monitoring team office. We have selected about 73 species of different trees, and about 50 species of shrubs, herbs, climbers and grasses which are native to Aravalli range or the Ridge area. This nursery was furthermore extended and a separate segment comprising 59 mother-beds was developed, which is designated to native herbs. Around 120 species in total are available for free distribution to people from Delhi NCR.

Tall seedling and medicinal plant Nursery
Aravalli Tall Seedling Nursery was inaugurated on International Day of Forests (21st March 2022) by Shri Ishwar Singh (Hod and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests) at Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary, under the Delhi Seed Bank Project. The tall seedlings are looked after for two years until they attain a certain height and girth (depending on species). After procuring from Aravalli modern forest nursery the seedlings are brought here for further growth and strengthening which makes them suitable for planting on wild lands and also decreases the chances of mortality. This nursery has the capacity of 135 nursery beds and 20 mother beds.
